I have one MEL-LAX on QF (80k) that reverted to coach when ticketed and one that continues to show in biz. Mildly hopeful.

it's been a couple of years since I've seen EI J awards [USA]-DUB for anything but an absurd 280k OW. They used to price @ 60k.

Over the last year I have seen one or two flights with 60k seats. Wish I had booked one of those unicorns.

Curious. When I looked at the calendar view and filtered to show Business only, the ones that remained ticketed correctly and showed
J class. Some others showed 80K and "Partner Business" in the single day view, and those reverted to Coach when ticketed.

I actually had them X 2 in both directions for summer 2020, but of course Covid blew up that trip. I've never seen another since.

I have two J booked at 60K VCE-DUB-SEA-YVR for mid-July. VCE-DUB in Main. When I was looking last fall, there were quite a few options for summer 2023 travel.

Since airlines miles has lost most of its value. There is no reason to loyal to an airline.

I called to cancel the coach ticket and asked for the partner fee back. Agent was quite resistant, saying I had agreed that it was non refundable. Well, yes, then, again, I was booking a biz ticket that was issued as coach. She grudgingly did reverse it as a one time exception.

The other one still looking good in J?

Still there. Yours?

I know we can't count on it for a few weeks, yet I've gone searching for reports on QF biz on the A380.

Mine looks good too. I just flew the A380 in J SYD-LAX and it was amazing. All the 380s were retrofitted with the exact same seat as
the 787-9. Really great privacy and comfort.

Sadly, not all. There is one left with the SkyBeds, and it occasionally makes an appearance on the SYD-LAX route. Indeed, I'm ticketed on it this summer and hoping they find another use for it in the mean time!

That is true. You must've been unlucky though because in my experience the use that aircraft pretty rarely.

I thought all AS award tickets are refundable?!

Did they have an explanation (excuse) for why they turned a J ticket into a coach ticket? Should be glad you didn’t file a DOT complaint, me thinks .

I think it isn’t quite as bad.

Award tickets are refundable. The $25 partner fee is not.

None - but I didn't ask for one either. It was my (valid) justification for the partner fee being returned.

ah, got it. I misread it as them pushing back on refunding the entire ticket.
