Earning A+ Credits
Hey all - I'm still pretty new to earn points/credits/miles, so please help me out. A few months back, I signed up for an AirTran A+ rewards credit card and listed my girlfriend (who shares the same address if that matters) as an additional user on the account. Chase sent her a credit card with her name on it as well.
We recently flew AirTran (this was a flight booked and paid for well before we applied for the credit card). I had the entire itinerary added to my A+ account so I would earn credits for each of the two roundtrip flights. I now come to find out that AirTran only issued me the one credit per flight and issued nothing for the girlfriend.
Before I try contacting Airtran, is this standard? If two people are married, for instance, would a husband be able to accumulate credits for both his and his wife's travel? Or am I wrong to think that a partner's travel, when on the same itinerary and everything, would count towards my rewards? Are other FF programs the same way?
If that's the case, I'm assuming the cheapest route to go is to get her to sign up for a free A+ account, request the credits, and then transfer them to me for the $19 fee/credit?
Thanks!

Each Passenger should get credits for their flight if the tickets were purchased (not A+ Rewards Flights). In order to get credit both passengers A+ rewards numbers need to be listed on the itinerary. If your girlfriend did not sign up for A+ rewards then she will not get credited. However she can still sign up and get credits for past flights, up to a point.

I recently joined A+ Rewards. Can I get A+ credits for flights I have already taken?
