Air Tran Elite number
Just called to make a change to something I booked via my corporate travel at 11:30 p.m. and got the "Sorry, we're closed" message, which then continued to inform that regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-12 a.m. EST.
Huh. In that case, shouldn't someone be answering the phones 30 minutes prior to closing time on a Wednesday?

I highly doubt WN is still running a separate Elite line. I wonder if they just forward the elite line to the common number. I once dialed the Elite line on one phone and the regular A+ line on another phone. I got the regular operator first.

Even if "closed" one would/could and IMO probably should expect it to forward to the regular 800-Airtran line rather than a closed message.

You would think! But nope, just got the "Please call back during operating hours" (even though it WAS still operating hours) and the big disconnect.

Seems confusing that they advertise closing at midnight Eastern Standard Time in the middle of summer. Perhaps that is why they were closed (not adjusting for daylight saving).

Sometime when I call the Elite line I get forwarded to the "Special" desk and sometime to the "Travel Agency" desk. An I have gotten the closed recording.
