AA lounge first class?
We are flying first class from Seattle to St.Lucia with a stop over in Miami. I have centurion/PP but would like to use the AA lounge but the website says you can only use it if you are traveling international first class. Is the Caribbean part of that, I did not see it on the list? Will we be granted access? Thank you in advance.

Hi Heather, Welcome to Flyertalk.
AA doesn't consider the Caribbean to be International for purposes of lounge access. So unfortunately, no, you won't have access based on your itinerary.
You can buy day passes to the AAdmirals Club, but if you have Centurion already, I'd just stick with that. AA lounges, other than Flagship First/Business, aren't special enough to warrant spending $ to get in, IMO.

The key term is "qualifying" international first class. According to the AA website, St. Lucia, nor any Caribbean flight, qualifies as an international flight that grants lounge access to FC passengers. (On a side note, I'm curious about Georgetown which is technically part of South America which according to the rules should qualify.) Some transcon flights in FC qualify for lounge access but SEA-MIA isn't one of them.

If you've got access to the AMEX Centurion lounges, that's not a bad fallback.
