Will my expired United Club card get me into an Air Canada lounge (im still a member

I am flying through EWR via Air Canada.
I have a united club membership, but I can only find my expired card. The membership is still good though.
I read online that for partner lounges you need the physical card, and a digital card wont work. Will this card work (the membership number stayed the same).

Thank you

Probably not, as I don’t believe AC has access to the UA system that would show continued membership. Can you print a card from the website?

Digital card in your United app? I haven’t carried my physical cards for several years now and don’t have any problems of accessing partner lounges both domestic and abroad
