Air Berlin BID AMOUNT

I am going JFK > TXL > PMI > JFK

Does anyone know how much to bid to get upgraded? Is it a % of the difference between econ and biz ticket price?

Any experience or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what fellow passengers are bidding.

Since that is nearly impossible to determine, do you have any suggestions?

I would guess factors for success are also how many seats are available in biz for the respective flight and the (expected) dynamics of bookings coming in for this date and flight.

So for a transatlantic upgrade I would guess it could be anywhere between 250 and 900 euros.

And even then they may decide to not give an upgrade because of your personal booking pattern or out of general statistics to not water down regular sales for premium class seats too much.
