AA codeshare on AB metal

booked DUS-JFK on AB metal, but marketed by AA, crediting that to top bonus - would I get miles based on AA earning chart or AB earning chart?

Thanks!

Not sure, but I think it is based on the marketing carrier. BA flight booked under AB flight number posted to BA EC account as AB flight without elite bonus

OneWorld rules state that you earn miles based on the marketing carrier. So you would earn based on the chart under the 'Collect' tab at this link:

Afraid this seems to be the case - only flights with AB/HG flight numbers earn according to the AB chart. Codeshares earn according to the partner chart.
See http://www.airberlin.com/en-GB/site/...Name=airberlin.

When you book via aa.com you mostly have the option of selecting either the AA codeshare or the partner flight number.
