Would I ever suggest such a thing?

December is unfortunate timing. No more business seats into ZQN on Air NZ.

Will some of the *A execs fly QF instead?

They're cost cutting. It'll be on JQ.

They're probably not *G, after all, no status earned on ID90 fares.

It's going to be fun trying to get spaceplus between December 12 to 14 on AKL-ZQN! Of the 80 people going I'd say most will be come via AKL. Since UA doesn't give NZ*G free access to E+ like we give free access to UA*G to S+, I hope its pay back time for UA and they get the rear cabin!

Its going to be interesting at the AKL KC on the 11/12December.

The meeting, which will be held at Millbrook Resort, will run for three days from December 12 to 14 combining both chief executive and Alliance management board meetings.
Interesting that Millbrook isn't booked out for those days, yet.

They may not be staying there, just utilising Millbrook's conference facilities?

It might be up to each airline to book there own accommodation. I'd says SQ CEO standards would be alot different to the backpackers that UA are likely to stay at

I'd say summer in ZQN is going to be a lot busier than usual.

I wonder if the Execs will hide in their hotel rooms for fear of having to mingle with the mostly young travelling crowd in ZQN? Or will Rob Fyfe force them out and tell them to "experience ZQN"? (Anyone picture any *A Execs doing the luge?)

You know how in all these worldwide heads of government meetings where the host nation makes all the participants wear silly shirts?

Well, I wonder in this situation whether Rob Fyfe will force everyone to wear pink shirts.

Now there's a thought. It might be worth making the trip just to see that. Rob Fyfe didn't look too bad on tv!
