Koru Member - Benefits with Connecting Flight

Hi Guys,

I'm a Koru member and I have a flight coming up to Auckland - Seoul via Hong Kong. 1st segment (AKL - HKG) is marketed/operated by Air NZ but the connecting flight (HKG - ICN) is marketed/operated by Cathay. This whole journey is on one PNR/booking and was booked via the Air NZ website (if that makes any difference)...

At AKL, can I use my Koru benefits to check in 2 bags? I'm assuming Air NZ will check my bags through to Seoul.

Can someone please advise with experience...

Thanks in advance!
