hi guys
tricky one here (I think)
wondering if you can tell me what will happen in this scenario:
recently fell back back from elite to gold and have upcoming trip to Singapore with 2 friends in Y. I want to use my 2x gold ru to try for J.
However i will shortly be elite again, will I be able to put in elite airpoints upgrades for my friends after already lodging the gold ru x2 prior to being elite again ?
Hope this makes sense. Both are on my gifting register etc.

If I read this correctly 3 pax, and you are applying yourself the 2x to J. It seems like your friends APD upgrade will clear before yours in this scenario but I could be wrong?
If you are ex AKL don't keep hopes up. I've had many failed upgrades in this route travelling as single PNR and applying APD upgrade for others.
On my last trip there were 8 people who had upgrades pending at T-2
