Maybe because the vast majority of customers they survey say it still delivers one of the best sleeping experiences across any airline.. And the vast majority of Air NZ longhaul flights are at night?

Refresh means change up the upholstury. So may be different colour.
Replace the foam & cushioning.
Doubt it will include IFE or a power delivery plug

Given that people haven't mentioned the new 789 guessing they haven't changed colour?

There was.. And this was announced earlier in the year at one during one of the investor presentations.

Nobody at Air NZ however seems to know anything to say about this officially, incl the media team who know nothing about it.

I honestly think new upholstery would be a waste of money right now. Save it for the real seat.
