Air NZ Google Matrix ITA

Hello,

I'm traveling from Queenstown to Auckland on 1/8/2015 and found a fare for 102.38 NZD on Google Matrix ITA with the following restriction...

TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON NZ AND MAY ONLY BE SOLD IN NEW
ZEALAND/AUSTRALIA. SALE IS RESTRICTED TO SPECIFIC AGENTS.
TICKETS MAY NOT BE ISSUED BY PTA.

Does anyone have any experience in booking a rate with those terms or have a suggestion for a travel agent I could work with? Thanks!

EDIT: The fare does change in Google Matrix ITA when changing the Sales City. Thanks for any possible suggestions on getting the NZ rate!

Only seeing $144 through airnewzealand.co.nz. I'm accessing the site in the US.

Same price accessing the site from NZ. Also assuming you're travelling on the 8th Jan, not the 1st Aug.

8th Jan is correct . Thank you for checking. I wonder where Google Matrix ITA is grabbing the fare from. I actually just tried using a VPN w/ a New Zealand based IP and didn't have any luck on several sites.

Pretty much the only website that can sell this is airnewzealand.co.nz

Make sure the link your using is https://flightbookings.airnewzealand...reateitinerary

Also note that the $109 fare is carry-on only

The Matrix fare quoted above is a Grab-a-seat fare. There are no GAS fares left on that day. Minimum is $144 Smart Saver, which includes a bag.

Not sure how frequently the Matrix database updates fare availability.

Thanks, what's the likelihood of Grab-a-seat inventory becoming available again? Or is that just anyone's guess?

That time of year? Probably pretty unlikely, unless numbers are abnormally low at around 4-6 weeks out.

For the past two years in an row, I've been able to get an Grab-a-seat for AKL-ZQN at that time of the year for $69. The catch being that it was only 6 weeks out, and was an Grabaseat 'Green Light Deal' which are daily deals they sell on grabaseat.co.nz

Are you sure the ITA is actually NZD and not USD?

The default is the currency of the departing city, so unless you physically changed it to USD, it is NZD for such a flight.

And it's still showing an unattainable fare.
