AKL-LAX-LHR loads during the week
Hi all
I'm shifting to the UK for work, and was planning on buying a PE seat from Auckland-LHR and then using GE upgrades for the whole trip...
I can go at any point during the week - does anyone have any advice on typically quiet days to maximise chances of upgrade success? Presumably mid-week?

How many times has this question been asked this calendar year, let alone throughout the recent history of FT? Does no-one read historical posts? Sorry for the rant.
You are NZ*E - ring up NZ and ask which flights during the week have R class availability and then book those flights and get the upgrade confirmed immediately.
