Richard Branson and daughter and presumably son in law on NZ 7 arriving this am. Escorted to the plane and escorted off the plane. Interesting had some dodgy seats in the second cabin on 747 - it must have been a preferred location for him or else NZ didn't want to turf there HVC out of there preallocated seats.

Intresting, I wonder if he was in transit from lhr off the vs service, but I guess if thats the case he would have taken vs to syd via hkg then just had the short hop tt with air nz or va.what seat number was he in? The second bp cabin lower deck, or do refer to the dodgy seats as broken? If thats the case he could whip out his spanners and fix them, they are his seats after all..!

I was thinking he was coming on his private jet....

the middle section of BP on LD on 744s are often not as popular as the nose rows 1 - 7, unless the HVC want to exit the plane quick.... and for this reason, I think they were just put there (if they were on the plane) so that they can be escorted out as soon as the door opens.....

I am sure that HVC would not mind to be relocated to the Upper Deck or the nose section, which is always difficult to book in in the first place

The Saturdays in Economy last August on LAX-LHR and Black Cap, Ian Butler on LHR-AKL in economy last month. Sat across the aisle from him. V pleasant chap - we chatted cricket on and off for the first leg to LAX where I got off. he is quite tall so gave up his premier economy seat for a seat with more leg room in economy. Lucky passenger in economy got to swap with him. He booked an upgrade from LAX in Business Premier.

A few years ago I saw Ozzy Osbourne in business premier from LHR-LAX. Actually, I heard him first: SHARRRROOOON!

3rd December in Koru longe.

Legends of Aussie Rock: Jimmy Barnes and the rest of Cold Chisel. On route from Wellington concert to Auckland concert.

Several plane dealys that day (due to bird strike), so waiting patiently and individually meeting requests for signatures and photos. For one really keen fan (who was also travelling to Auckland to go to a second concert), the group got together for a group photo with the fan.

One of the group (Don Walker) came over and commented to my partner about the drawing he was doing as we filled in time. (Which was great as he is a CC and JB fan).

They were bemused with being flown on an All Black A320.

Terry Serepisos AKL-WLG on New Year's Eve. Used his boarding pass as a toothpick. Also, it looked like a (guide?) dog had been sitting on the carpet.

Luckily for him, airpoint dollars are (presumably) off-limits to insolvency trustees.
