Interesting had some dodgy seats in the second cabin on 747 - it must have been a preferred location for him or else NZ didn't want to turf there HVC out of there preallocated seats.
Intresting, I wonder if he was in transit from lhr off the vs service, but I guess if thats the case he would have taken vs to syd via hkg then just had the short hop tt with air nz or va.what seat number was he in? The second bp cabin lower deck, or do refer to the dodgy seats as broken? If thats the case he could whip out his spanners and fix them, they are his seats after all..!
