MRS-LYS

Guillaume Pepy yesterday evening on MRS-LYS - seat 2C / Flight AF1545 operated by HOP.
He was going to BIQ.
(Platinum TAG on his bag).

Indeed, I saw this on a LinkedIn post as well. Seems to me she should also fly on some of KLM's neglected (but profitable) sectors to South Asia and Africa to see the difference in quality of service and state of the aircraft used compared to trans Atlantic sectors.

what a joke, ex-CEO of SNCF taking a flight for a direct trip that would last 1h40 by the train

Marseille to Biarritz is a 9-10hr train ride.
Makes sense to fly to LYS then BIQ.

No worries to fly LYS-BIQ, but he could have done MRS-LYS by train.

after all, he was in charge for 11 years and he never developed town-to-town trains.

Newcomers like "le train" will develop routes from Rennes to Bordeaux without going thru Paris in 2025 and other will develop new routes currently not existing...

I reckon it depends on your audience - and, more specifically , how geriatric it is - but for me?
oh, it SO counts.

Katie Holmes recently (AF, CDG - LAX). Unsurprisingly, she kept a low profile and was very polite to FAs and fellow passengers.
