Initially at OLCI, but I hesitated a bit and by the time I decided to pull the trigger the day before, it was gone.

Got to the check in desk and asked for upgrade availability, initially the agent said I would have to standby, but she called her supervisor and said that I could confirm straight away. Price was still 499EUR as offered at OLCI

It was actually my wife who got that offer, she's FB Silver and it was on an award ticket, and yes she took it.

Does one of these upgrades offered at online check-in include lounge access, I'm specifically enquiring about a flight from AMS to BUD so schengen lounge at Schiphol.

CDG-AMS Fr. 29th Nov : Y-->J - €229 (me, Plat, actually traveling a lot & upgrading OLCI once in a while), showing one available seat, €99 (wife, Plat as well, not traveling a lot (Plat for 2 through Amex)), showing 3 available seats - Traveling under different PNRs.

FCO-NBO KQ128 today, we were 6 people including me in J, about 30 people in Y and upgrades were not offered at airport check in at all (I asked what if I was, somehow :D in Y)...Weird. However the flight was superb. Since A to Z.
