Low budget with high budget prices. I couldn't find anything reasonable to Spain this Summer, from AMS anyway. And my experiences of AirEuropa are not particularly glowing. Don't think you're missing much, unless you're after SkyTeam points, and those can be a devil to follow up (if Flying Blue is anything to go by).

Well, I'm glad to hear it. I would definitely give them another shot if I need to travel on their network at any time.
There were a couple of threads about AirEuropa last year, one of which mentioned the inability to collect miles on UX flight numbers operated by the Spanish train service Renfe.

I am wondering how an experience with UX can be "very very good".

At the check-in desk, the staff saw that I had a platinum card and opened directly a counter for me.
After at the boarding, the staff recognized me and they came to get me for boarding in first.
And in the plane : seat 1A
I think UX is an example for the respect of SkyPriority rules

However :
- Long haul seems to be another story (well, comparable to IB...)
- Short haul business class really dosn't worth it.

I've flown UX several times between ORY and MAD. Also MAD-LGW and domestic flights in Spain. As long as you set your expectations low, and enjoy the low prices (usually much cheaper than IB) then they are OK. And it helps A LOT if you have a Skyteam Elite card and can use the business check in. There are always huge lines for economy check in, but the business check in IME, is always empty.

this is normally how every ST partner should handle members if staff was properly trained
