Equipment change!?

Equipment change!?
I'm on AF 188 tomorrow, and yesterday I've already seen that the equipment has changed from 777-200 to 77W. Also, before the change has been made, seatcounter had shown almost 0 availability, now it's back to pretty open. So my hopes for an OpUp have vanished 
Through OLCI I'm hoping for an empty middle-seat, so I opted for 21J for me and 21L for my companion, I just hope that strategy works
