Change to Elite Mileage Requirements
Has anyone seen anywhere where AF have announced that as of tomorrow Qualifying Mileage for Elite levels is reduced as below?
Frequence Plus Blue: was 30,000 miles now 25,000 miles
Frequence Plus Red: was 60,000 miles now 40,000 miles
NB: For members residing outside France only.
I can't believe I have missed this in the Frequence Plus Newsletter?

Says in the newsletter that the new guide will be in our hands shortly where I presume this change might be.

I guess what prompted the changes is that the service on AF is so bad and that the FF scheme is so ineffective that AF decided they had to reduce the qualifications to an extremely low level.
Let's face it you now get the highest elite level after 10 inter-europe Business Class returns - not exactly a challange! (2/5ths of the requirement for top-elite on LH for example).
But then the benefits (and I am not talking about award redemption) are so insignificant that I guess they can afford to practically give it away.

PS: Cliff, does that restore your faith in my anti-AF sentiment?
