I have a flight later this year in this exact config with 14 seats in Business with 1L as my chosen seat. How much more legroom are we talking and is it worth losing a bit of privacy for ?

no more legroom in row 1. All seats are the same.

Expertflyer shows Seat 6A with a yellow warning, saying proximity to galley and bathroom might be bothersome. It's a daytime flight, CDG-LAX, is it very bothersome?

Right now, we are 5A and 6A, opted for one behind the other rather than two center seats on a morning departure. We could also get one behind the other back in 18L and 19L, but it's over the wing, and we like to look out. Any thoughts on the choices?

That's not the high density config this thread is about, but this one (with first class, without refurbished business class seats) based on the seat numbers mentioned. To me both pairs would be fine noise wise for sure, 6A might be a bit bothersome depending on the person: https://theluxurytraveller.com/wp-co...-3-880x745.jpg. This picture is from another layout, but the seat and distance to the curtain should be the same if not very similar (window placement isn't luckily).

6L on the other hand I would not sit in since it has a toilet directly behind it and you'll clearly hear the flushing all the time, at least that was my experience on a recent flight in 1K in their dreamliner which seems to have compareable distance between seat and lavatory.

Thanks, RossBob, very helpful.

I thought I was on the upgraded one but I read the thread on the new one and it seems other than the door (which I find takes away space, at least on BA) the seat is not that much different and a great seat.

Appreciate the picture on 6A. I dislike poorly place windows (or nonexistent windows) on window seats. (Understand it might not be exactly the same on this config).

We are booking the CDG-YYZ flight in September 2025, and it will be the 777-300er, high density version. Are all of these high density aircraft finished the refurbishment? If they are all finished, does anyone have a picture of the first row of premium economy, more specifically the seat and leg room.

Yes, all the COI were refurbished during the Covid.

Note that W on the COI is the fixed shell, unfortunately. There is no extra legroom compared to the rows behind.

Can anyone confirm whether seats 1A and 2C have noticeably more foot/legroom than the other seats, or does it just look that way?

I was in 1L on that configuration earlier this year (so presumably like 1A, just on the other side). I actually felt legroom was very slightly less in terms of length but better in terms of width (i.e. a bit more wiggle room for your feet). In any case, I slept very well, and I'm about 5'11" or 1.80m. Almost slept through the shouting match between the captain (!) and a passenger who had too much to drink.
