AF website won't save SkyMiles number

AF website won't save SkyMiles number
I'm not sure if this really belongs here, or in the SkyMiles forum. Please feel free to move it if needed.
I have a flight booked on AF, but I want to credit it to my SkyMiles account. However, it seems to be impossible to actually save my SkyMiles number to the reservation. Under "Frequent flyer card" it says "not specified." If I click "select or modify," and enter it, I don't get any error, but it still says "not specified." I have tried this several times over the past few weeks, with the same result.
Is this a known issue? Any workarounds (short of - gasp! - calling them on the phone)?

Don't worry about it.
You can retroclaim the miles in your Skymiles account if you can't add the number at check-in, and if you won't be dealing with any check-in or lounge agent while travelling who can add it for you.

Call them on the phone, they can put in your Skymiles number.
You won't be able to see your reservation on the website though if it's not associated with your FB account, but you can save it in the iPhone app and view it there (or you can always manually pull it up on the website).

I don't even have a FB account. I just booked the reservation as a guest on the site, and I have been accessing it by clicking the link in the confirmation email (I assume I could also manually plug in the confirmation number). Not sure if that's part of the problem.
