Spent 15 minutes there today. Barely a free seat! Not the best experience having just deplaned from ICN.

I was in the MLL yesterday.

Yes, it is a construction zone, temporarily half its original size. The new chairs are a welcome addition or should I say replacement. I have no doubt the renovation will be a significant improvement on what was there, and that it will be completed as soon as possible.

Can they please do away with the tile they have now. It is incredibly noisy when the service carts go across it.

The bathroom does need a much better ventilation system.

YVR domestic lounge on Oct 13 at around 7:00 AM was clean, non-smelly bathroom, and plenty of seats, although they filled up quickly after I entered and there was a line-up to get in when I left. Heard that hardwood floors are on the way from the lounge agent.

Right now, the back (closest to main terminal building) half of the domestic MLL is open, anything beyond the drink/food service station is closed (as is the seating section across from there). Upstairs men's room was also closed (not sure if for cleaning or for renos).

Thank goodness for the quiet Plaza Premium lounge, even if it can be a hike!

No. The part being worked on is boarded up very well so no dust gets through. It was crowded when I got there but emptied (to <1/2) shortly after.

no, you can't see anything. It was tight this afternoon, I saw the agents turn away a few guests trying to use a guest pass so they could allow E/SEs in.

As for the mens washroom - this is being renovated right now. The downstairs ladies room has been convered to a temporary "mens" room along with the exisitng downstairs mens room to accomodate for now.

I haven't been to YVR domestic in three months. Any recent updates on the renovation?

Work is completed. Doesn't actually seem to be much different, save that the island with the toaster and what not on it now doesn't have a wall going up to the ceiling.

Am in the YEG MLL now and the chairs have been replaced with new ones. Certainly looks a LOT better.

All MLL upgrades should include the replacement of the elevators leading to the MLL. Replacements should be the fastest on the market.
