Miles also expire after 7 years, regardless of any activity.

sorry to bump this, I seem to recall Aeroplan expiry is different for members with OVERSEAS address? like 3 years? or is that gone too?

Also, I think for children < 18, their miles do NOT expire until their 18th birthday?

Is that still the case? I can't find it on Google or Aeroplan website, only 12-month "inactivity" rule

My daughter's account shows her 19th birthday under the "12 Month Account Expiry" area. Click on the little question mark for details on exceptions to the rule, etc. -- looks like the counter starts at her 18th birthday, so the expiry is 12 months after that...

Did a survey for Aeroplan Advisor panel this week about Airmiles 5 yr expiration policy which has recently garnered quite a bit of publicity. Very interesting questions sincec AE withdrew from the idea of a 7 year expiration policy. I truly hope they are not thinking of going back down that road.
