IFE Question..how often is it updated
I am doing my 2nd of 3 YYZ-SYD trips this month.
My first one in July, I think I watched every movie.
I assumed by late september there would be a shift to something new.
I was on AC719 (LGA-YYZ) and to my horror, all of the movies were the same.
Is the update or movie schedule different from domestic to Int'l or am I doomed to watch the same movies for 20 hours (each way)?

I recently flew a trans-Pacific and a trans-Atlantic with them, 2 weeks
apart. the offerings were the same on both, and I did not find one
watchable movie . Bring some good books, or your own DVD's & laptop.

That is what I thought, except the hollywood movies were exactly the same, with the exception of Stop-Loss from AC33/34 (july)to AC719 (now)..

not only that but, on my last trip, one of the food options ran out by the time the trolley reached row 43, so we were left with, in the words of the flight attendant, "chicken or chicken".

i did transatlantic on AC one way and back on LH last week, in J. AC has better seats, but LH's IFE is way better. more movies, more choices in more languages .. getting close to (but not quite) SQ's.
LH's angled lie flat is horrendous.

With all the variety offered, video/audio, English & French (and sometimes more), you could take advantage of the opportunity to try something other than hollywood...
