2 x 2 for 1s Amex aeroplan companion certs
Hi.
Since I didn't get a response on an earlier thread, I'm trying again with a twist. My family will be travelling to Vietnam on AC/UA in February. To make sure we travel J, we'll be using the 2 for 1 certs for all four of us to HKG on AC metal. Some of us will be leaving from YEG, two from TEgucigalpa/LAX (See below) Same flights from YVR onwards.
1. Is this possible? i.e. use of two certs on the same flights?
2. 2 of us will be travelling from Tegucigalpa. So we're going to have to combine flights to and from LA, then AC from LA to HKG, then UA from HKG to Saigon. Just wondering how people do this, if the AC companion certs don't take you all the way on a flight such as this.
The flights are in late february, after CHinese New Year. I've got SE status but no one else does.

You cannot interline on the AC ticket when using an Amex 2for1.... It must be AC flights and Flight numbers.
As long as C class is available you can use as many 2 for 1 Amex certs as you can muster.
