More Europe?

President Miltons Editoral in En Route says there will be more Latin America, Asia and Europe. Well we can see more of the first two, but what about more Europe. All I see is less and less. AMS must have been seasonal as it seems to be gone and is even off the en Route map now. Some many other destinations in Europe are gone and I am amazed the MUC is still being offered.

I for one would like to see Milton deliver on new routes to Europe. At this point AC only serves LHR, CDG, FRA and one flight to MUC. Period that is it. All the other routes are served by *A partners.

You forgetting the AC operated YYZ-FCO route that starts next spring?

Can anyone bring up AC business plan on FT where they had "planes" listed... RM was cutting planes... for 2005 he was short a lot of planes used for international routes.... Has he tossed out his Business plan?
I have tried to use the Search button here but can't find it.

It's in the button towards the top of the screen that's labelled search.

Must admit I did not know Rome was coming back. However if it starts in the spring is this another seasonal route only. In the good olde days both Rome and Milan were daily flights! IMO, service to Europe is a far cry from what it was largely thanks to traffic drained to *A carriers.

They should put the CRJs on European routes. That way they'd be cost effective, at least once.

Probably until somewhere near the Azores.

That would be the ERCRJ version?
Please don't give them ideas.

I have heard that there is consideration being given for A319 service between Halifax and London(LHR)

Nope, just the regular versions.

I'm sure AC sees this as more than a route for upgrading. An all-economy flight - year round - is a better situation than offering a J-class product that never sold on YYZ-FCO, whether it was AC or CP offering it. I'd rather have a daily service on that route with a 762 than no service at all.
