FUN fares connecting to the US
Do you folks know if the domestic segment of a transborder trip in FUN earns 100% status miles or 50%.
For example, if i'm flying YVR-YYZ-EWR on an AC fun fare, does the YVR-YYZ earn full miles? tahnks!

YVR-YYZ of the leg is domestic therefore 50% status miles
YYZ-EWR of the leg is transborder therefore 100% status miles
in general, the only time you won't get 100% status miles on transborder is if you do it on Tango fares E,N,T.. which is 50% non-status miles.
Basically, to determine what miles you get, just look at it on a flight by flight (segment by segment) basis. The "type" of trip you're on does not determine what kind of status miles you'll get for the entire trip.
