Have been off-line for a few days down in LA, sampling the delights of LAX's airport hotels, the new LRT/subway system, and the FOUR PTS beer cellar! But enjoyed meeting up with the hearty foursome who ventured the overcast skies -- weather turned from forecasted sunny skies to clouds with intermittant showers -- to make it down to Doucey Park aka Telus Field for a fast game of ball, Trappers winning 4 to 1 I believe.

As exAC noted, we spent more time chatting in our box seats [$4 each!] and sipping hot coffee, than watching the field events. Narry a drop of beer passed any of our lips. Nice to meet "the Boy", see exAC is back in fine shape, and tcook up to his old tricks. [Thanks for the UA certificates, and I hope to make use of one of them before the end of the summer so I can start using all those UA inflight drink coupons friendly American 1Ks keep laying on me!] We did have an inning or two of sunshine, then it started to rain as we left the ballpark. Just a typical Alberta June afternoon...

I am up to another such outing next year, with the anticipated Northern League team, should it materialize.
