Westjet now will use T-2

This shuffling is getting more confusing than the AC/CP merger
At least there's still hope of using the MLL on a WS flight - thanks PP!

Since AC will be moving its domestic flights from T2 to T1New, there will be no MLL to use at that end of T2. The Transborder MLL will still be operating but it is past Pre-Clearance so inaccessible to domestic travellers, and WestJet is likely to be operating from the other end of the terminal.

On to more important things. It looks like that the bus was good enough for AC passengers but is not good enough for WS types. WS still has the ability ot checkin passengers in TNew and bus them to T2. Then the passengers would get all the features of TNew and smart Fters could use the MLL. With WS only using T2 Checkin, the TNew MLL opportunity is out.

With all the international flights in the infield terminal, what is the minium time I need to be at the infield bus bay (eg 20m minutes before boarding starts). While it is a nice idea to use the domestic MLL, I think all the travel time to infield terminal would result in no time left for the MLL.
It is still a great idea for the Western Canada to Europe connections, which can be up to 3-4 hours long.

The cut off for international flights at YYZ is 60 mins. You will not be allowed to check in after that. You are expected to board the bus for the IHT at 60 mins before departure at the latest.

Are you saying they'll still bus folks to that infield piece of junk (is that your IHT?) after T1New is open?
What's the point then?

I haven't departed from it yet so I don't know what that's like but I've arrived there and can't exactly complain, bus time was more than made up by a much shorter taxi time.
