Lounge access
Hi,
I have a question about using the lounges. If I have elite status on AC, can I use the Red Carpet Club if I am flying on United, even if the flight is all intra-US, with no cross-border connection?
Thanks very much!

Can't wait until USAir gets on board it'll make places like RDU and PHL much more civilized to travel through.

wasn't there a long thread on this subject earlier this year? I noticed that United's website is updated with this piece of news:
"RCC access only available to Star Gold traveling on a same-day international ticket. "
http://www.united.com/page/article/0,1360,3113,00.html
So, it technically means that if you are on a pure UA domestic flight, you can't use your *G status to get in...

There was confusion earlier in the year when many RCC turned away AC *G when they're on a pure domestic itinerary.
It's been sorted out now and all AC *G can access the RCC when they are flying on a pure domestic itinerary. They can even bring a guest in.

This Monday I will travelling CO to CUN on an F ticket. CO does give lounge access to their First/Bizz class pax unless they have lounge status, which you have to buy.
Will AC let me use the MLL as an Elite, but flying on CO?
Is their a DC lounge at YVR? As a DC MLL cardholder, they let one use lounges in certain airports.
Edited to add: I've answered my own question on a DC lounge. NO

There is no Diners Club lounge at YVR, so the MLL is your only option there and you can only enter with same-day STAR boarding pass. If you are flying CO through one of their hubs and have an Amex Plat card, you can get into the Presidents' Club with your same day CO boarding pass. Otherwise, AW's suggestion is the way to get around the MLL entry restrictions as a Priority Pass member.
