There is no Diners Club lounge at YVR, so the MLL is your only option there and you can only enter with same-day STAR boarding pass. If you are flying CO through one of their hubs and have an Amex Plat card, you can get into the Presidents' Club with your same day CO boarding pass. Otherwise, AW's suggestion is the way to get around the MLL entry restrictions as a Priority Pass member.
