A client of mine’s itinerary (which we paid for) has become a mess today with delays and now an untenable connection. He’s on a status pass but not an elite member. Can I as an SE reasonably help at all, or is it inappropriate for me to use the priority line on his behalf?

Currently sitting AC 737 which had a 45min delay due to "checked baggage delays". Why have a 1.5hr cut off time now for checked bags if they cant be processed on time.

lol it appears that transportation companies have long mastered the art of time travel. Many siloed departments don't really talk to each other and as a result we have this. Have seen this with airlines, train companies, public transit systems, etc.

AC306 (YVR YUL) tomorrow (Jan 8) cancelled for maintenance. Auto rebooked to a flight 6 hours later despite there being YYZ connections to my final destination with similar arrival and departure times, but I was able to get that sorted with the online rebooking tool fairly quickly.

Anyone on AC122 today?
The incoming was originally from Shanghai. But they switched it to an incoming from YYZ and delayed it 5.5hr. No reason given in text/email.
Ron.

Well, after 1500+ flights this is a new one
AC1038 out of DEN
Delayed 2 hours due to crew rest. That happens
APU not working to start the engines. That happens
Wind too strong in DEN that the ground unit is not working.
So now, they are pushing back to adjust the plane so the wind isn't a factor so try and get the engine going.
Then one runway working out of DEN due to said wind.
Quite the Wednesday.
I feel bad for anyone with connections in YYZ

Bad day in YZF with AC8477 delayed 10 hours today and cancelled tomorrow. AC8479 cancelled.
Presumably due to the weather 🥶. I recall the CRJ is not certified below -39°C?

AC56 has a stellar performance record this week. Fulll loads (minus a self offloading pax Monday).
Mon. delayed 6hrs, Tues 9hrs, Friday evening cancelled 24hrs in advance due to weather. The CUN-YYZ inboundaircraft is showing ontime, so the weather must be in DXB. Makes sense as it's always snowboard/ski season there.
