LAX-YVR Pricing and discount Questions
Our entire Fam is going LAX/SNA to YVR on Jun 26th and returning July 5th (11 people total). All pricing is in USD.
My questions are:
Thanks for your knowledge I usually fly AC on points so not that familiar their pricing and discounts.

- I already did r/t LAX-YVR return for 5. I had a 15% coupon that I used on 4 of them as 4 max pass could only get the 15%.. So that is all set. That was $1400 rt, little less that $300 per person, 5 people total. Standard, not basic.
- My son (4 of them are) are going SNA-YVR (price is $160 one way for std economy) and they are going back from SEA so 4 of them are one way.
- My wife and I are going r/t SNA-YVR and planning on J at $700 rt each
My questions are:
- I missed the boxing day sale. What time of year would you book expecting a cheaper fare for a June trip? Do fares drop that much or do these fares look close enough to do it, opinion/history?
- The $700 J fare seems reasonable enough, but typically I don't see UA dropping the price, but if I could find another 15% off would be decent. I got it from a screen problem to YYT is there anyplace you can get these for whatever, promos etc?.

Can't help with pricing, but AC now has a code that's offering 25% off base fares until Jan 1st, 2024.

The bad news is that it's only available for travel until June 27th, 2024, and that it applies only to flights from LAX and not SNA.
But it might be worth a change of airport.

Off to get some of the rest figured out now as the return of after the date for the code.
