SE qualifying last trip
I'm on a last year ending trip to Mexico City to get over the 300,000 SQM threshold and get SE. I will end at 20,891SQD and 303,563 SQM and 96 SQD.

Wow at $5,000 per 1000 SQM / 1 SQS and if we assume your $3,353 in SQD came from 10 SQS, that means ~971 x 5,000 = $4,835,000 in credit card spending. Impressive.

LQM: 994,045 (MM in Jan looking good with flights booked)
Another great year of flying, got to lock in my 2nd banked year of SE, burned through all my priority rewards and a healthy amount of points to keep the family happy - will be on track again in 2024 to even bank another SE year - then with MM and the banked years I'm ready to accept the inevitable fate of continued travel policy expense cuts and business trip reductions

Thanks for highlighting that. I had not noticed that the SQD would only get them 25k.
Random aside, since shaibu crossed 250k SQM, would they get the 1 banked year for SE as a result? Or is it only triggered as a threshold reward if they have existing SE status?
