Post your Super Elite S100K 2024 Benefit Year Qualification/Requalification Here

We used to have these threads on requalification every year but seemed to have skipped last year. Maybe it is masquerading under a different name (or more likely several threads)?

Anyway--with the crazy credit card requalification and credit card SQM bonuses, I will finish with just over 100K SQM (includes 18000 SQM from credit card and 62273 rollover) and only 8100 SQD--the lowest I think I have ever done for SE qualification even in those years when we didn't need SQDs to get to SE. I have been SE in every year since the first year it came into being in 1998.

I just flew YYC-YEG last night even though roads are good (no snow in Edmonton!) but I didn't feel like driving at night. Squeaking over the 100K, I guarantee some more eupgrades I don't need/won't use.

The credit card thing gave me more flexibility on who I flew this fall/early winter but I think I will be flying more on AC again next year so maybe AC figured that out with some kind of AI and wanted to keep me in the fold (it may be working). The problem is there are such good business class deals on other airlines/alliance to all sorts of places I want/need to go.

Happy flying to my SE colleagues (and want to be SEs) in 2024!

SQM 166,068 (~61k from rollover)
SQS 42
SQD 21,172

Very likely my last year as a SE, I’ll hit SQM with ease again but imagine I will come up short on SQD. Time will tell, but I think I’ll be booking my big summer trip with TK this year. It’s about a $10,000 spend (including wife and child, so only 1/3 available as SQD for me anyway) and currently to book through AC that will get us Y, same price booked on TK gets us J.

All things considered I’d rather the trip in J even if it means I’ll be a lowly 75k the following year. Or, who knows, maybe my work travel will pick up and I can reach 20k without that trip, but it’s unlikely!

I'm flying today. After today's flights I will end the year with 96,439 SQM and approx. 22,500 SQD. Thanks to lower requalification will qualify again for SE.

This will be interesting if a lot of people post. After the thread of "A level above SE" the early results are definitely mixed in the need for such a level.

My final flight hasn't posted yet, but I'll be at 350,020 SQM and 21,830 SQD.

I really cut it close for the threshold gift.

Edit (again, to make it all more precise):
200k CC rollover
1k from CC spend
15k from Amex bonus
5k from FP bonus
2.5k from eStore promo

So only 126,520 SQM from actual flying.

Will be sitting at <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->1,333,054 LQM when the final flight posts.

Seems like no one bothered to create one the last couple of years - lack of tension due to COVID extensions and last year's numerous promos?
