Easy turn to fill their 5 hour scheduled groundtime in YVR.

Is 5 hours enough? At best, 1 hour stop in YVR each way, 1 hr in LAS, 2 hours block time to LAS (per direction). That's 7 hours.

Right now they have a 2200 hrs departure from YVR with a 0435 hrs arrival in MNL. They can push that back a couple hours to hit 7-8 hrs and actually make things more convenient for pax.

SQ discontinued their LAS-HKG-SIN 777 service, so PR will fill the void with their LAS-YVR-MNL 340 service.

One plane does MNL-YVR-LAS-YVR-MNL with only 90 mins layover at each destination!? It'll be interesting to see the OTP for this flight!!

PR used to have a stop in YVR on there flight to/from SFO. PR quite often arrives early in YVR from MNL.

I've noticed in Asia most airlines schedule there turnarounds for 60-90 minutes without much difficulty. I've seen CX turn a 744 in an hour.

I've been told by people in the Las Vegas casino industry that it is a popular destination for Filipino gamblers. My guess is up until now, they've been flying NW via NRT/LAX.
