  • If you need both SQD AND SQM or SQS, then please indicate both in their respective line item. Don't hide your second SQD/M/S requirement in some other line.
  • If you are based in YYZ or YVR, there can be many good fares to China (PEK or PVG) on Star Alliance partners. If you have a Chinese visa, include that in your request and these options will be provided.

You can also buy inexpensive P class YVR-YYZ-IAH/DFW/AUS that works out to 14-15 cpm (roughly $1400-$1500 CAD round-trip for 10k status miles). Since you are retired, I would be tempted to spread them out over a period of time and take a day or two to do something at your destination, rather than a pure mileage run.

YXY-YYT is about $1400 return in J.

Works out to roughly 10c/mile.

Sale ends March 5.

Maybe. Is that PY though?

Edit: just looked at prices. That must be Y. No thanks - maybe another time, if it's inside the eUp window with R space available.

Can you expand on the actual itinerary you booked? Interested

Assuming you meant 17-19 March?

That’s even better than Texas. 12500 SQM for under $1500 is what I’m seeing, so about 11-12 cpm in J. The added bonus is that both the origin and destinations are worth visiting, particularly YYT.

I'm toying with a mileage run from YYJ using the 25% birthday perk to as far as I can go. I see multiple fares through the summer to BRI for a bit below 9 cpm using a comfort fare.

The return for any of the Caribbean stops I've looked at, only have an hour turn around for the return. Obviously a delayed flight shouldn't be an issue but can I get through customs and security fast enough to re-board the same plane?

You can look at BOG?
YLW was too expensive for BOG, so I bought a basic fare between YLW/YVR for $82 & $89 so I went YVR-YYZ-BOG-YUL-YEG-YVR in PY for 12430 SQM for $1,239 or 0.099678 CPM plus what the basic fare got me this was Feb 18 - Upgraded to J which was great.
I have a YLW-YVR-YYZ-BOG-YUL-YYZ-YLW in PY for $1,308 for an estimated 12,501 SQM or 0.10463 CPM plus a night stay in YUL for April - Staying at the YUL Marriot
I have a YLW-YVR-YYZ-BOG-YUL-YYC-YLW in J for $1,856 for an estimated 14,826 SQM or .012518 CPM plus a night stay in YUL also for April - I got made at being Rouged so I went for a J fare - not the best CPM for my liking!
BOG had cheap $650 each way PY fares until recently.

Still looking at EZE as last year this was cheap in PY as I am trying to earn 150,000 SQM this year, with 200,000 rollover i will stop at 350,000 SQM. This year I want my $2,000 & $4,000 AC gift cards!!!

What dates were you looking at? Sometime later this year in the fall?

I am flexible. I have only booked 110,000 SQM through to May. So I have the balance of the year to book.

Baseball season starts soon, well the regular reason anyways but that won't add up to much.

I got to do something, if just for the joy/insanity... I may have zero chance of maintaining SE this year.

Pondering heading to YVR, then LAX with some mid-continent lounge visits over a weekend. But am open to better ideas.
