Indigenous land acknowledgement on IFE

First time noticing a land acknowledgement just before the safety video started (Iím on a 787-9). After the video there was another screen inviting passengers to learn more about Indigenous peoples through the IFE.

I was too slow for the initial acknowledgment but hereís the French version of the second slide.

It was a very non-specific acknowledgement of the traditional inhabitants of the territories they fly over. Iím on my way to LHR, so that might be the druids?

I'm glad AC hasn't chosen "rude and dismissive" as its approach to this issue.

Well, that escalated quickly...

A reminder that the OMNI/PR forum exists for those wanting to talk about political, cultural, etc issues.

I don't have much faith that this will stay on topic/appropriate to the AC forum if I delete/edit a few more posts, so I'm just going to shut it down.
