Quick question as it pertains to an upcoming booking via Aeroplan - I booked flights via old aeroplan before the changeover and the routing was SFO-ZHR-PRG on LX metal. Unfortunately, LX cancelled our flights (they were departing 4/19) and we were rebooked automatically via UA SFO-FRA-PRG. We were looking to change our flights anyway to September 2021 (don't think there's any chance we'll be going to Europe at end of April), but of course now aeroplan redemption rates are higher than before the changeover.
With LX cancelling the flights and AC changing our routing, are we eligible for any flight change that suits us? I.e. could we change our flights to September (same routing) but not have to use more points?
