I have a feeling the fish @codfather bought for us to kiss at the DO has gone bad by now

I'm likely in on the 23rd. Haven't booked my flights yet but I guess I should lock in that J cabin before all the SE*MMs grab the space.

I feel like we're amassing some critical mass towards October 23rd, albeit no word from the hosts...

Here I was going to suggest we do it June 30th.

Nova Scotia’s borders are opening at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, to residents of the three other Atlantic provinces. The province will open to travellers from outside Atlantic Canada on June 30.

Received 20% off promo code for Atlantic Canada. I wouldn't be attending but not sure if others also received as would be good timing to leverage discount for this event.

Has this been confirmed for Oct 23 or just that the general consensus upthread is that is the date that works best for everyone.

I'd like to see it happen in late August, such as August 21st. People are less busy in summertime

Paging @Yhztraveller (or any other YHZ area hosts) - we need a decision here. I have already bought tickets for Oct 23, but if I need to change them I would like to know sooner vs later ...

Well, technically do we really need a host?

We could pretend that we are Vikings and make this 1st ever YHZ Invasion Do. After all, COVID times call for bold action.

I think we need a host to organize some stuff, but as the cow pointed out in this very thread last year, there's nothing stopping other(s) from taking over the duties.

It's probably poor form to do so before the current hosts are given a chance to figure things out, but at some point if @Yhztraveller @codfather @RangerNS @smallmj don't pick up the baton, it's probably reasonable for someone else to do so.
