If routing via another hub (FRA, ZRH, MUC) would get you home closer to your original time, and that would be in compliance with the TA procedures that were linked to above, you could call your TA again and press them on it, specifically quoting AC's document for TAs. But it's likely going to be difficult to get anything other than the later YYZ-BOS or a refund.
