Cheap fare to LHR on Destina

$886.71 CAD including taxes for Mon-Thu travel (a bit higher for wkend travel).

Travel before 06SEP. Sat night stay required and 3 months max stay.

This is very cheap for summer travel considering that $1250 was the lowest fare when I was pricing it out for a few people.

Booked in L.

Forgot to say, this is ex-YYZ only and no advance purchase required. Book before July 18.

Aren't the flights busy already? Why offer a cheap rate?

Yes - but there are so many flights per day during the summer (5 - 6) and the oversell limit on those is very high. With J so empty on some of those flights, the Y capacity can be increased by decreasing J capacity. Even if they have to bump people, they get $800 cash in exchange for $500 MCO. There are always people willing to do that.

Plus the $145 change fee to re-correct the booking.

Plus $8.89 for Maalox.

Plus $117 x 4 for hotel when return flight is rescheduled for the following week.

Plus $90 for "Destina" insurance (available only directly from Lloyds of London.)

Didn't you get the memo, Ken. AC dropped its change fee to CAD 75.00 from 145.00. You must be spending too much time on *wood forum.

That's for domestic travel only. Change fee on international flights still range from $0 to $300 in some cases.

Oh yeah. Nevermind. Thought was a good chance to get a dig at Ken but guess the jokes on me. Serves me right for typing without thinking...
