Just got a second 2019 kit on Dec 31. Took a closer look at what I thought was my first 2019 kit and it looks like it was a duplicate of 2018.(Have now received 3 of these)
Did anyone else receive a 2018 kit mailed late this year (like arriving Dec)? Looks like cards are way shinier... and I guess we got 4 bagtags in 2018 and 2019?? Haven't even torn the card glue on these packs.

Looks like a sweep was done for last year (well in January 2018) some time between Jan 2 and Jan 5 (and also one on 6th according to one post). . . (mid-week)
Also in 2017, sweep was done sometime Jan 5/6 for 2017-2018 benefit year

I do not have this red button yet (SE100K qualified).
Who do I have to rub shoulders with to make this happen? Is there a special handshake? Is there a magic key combination that I need to press? Is there a special Carlton-like dance I need to perform?

Neither my wife or I have the red button yet. Also, AQDs from Dec. 31 have not posted yet. Which should not make any difference for either of us, but might be a reason for a sweep to be delayed by a couple of days, so as not to give a lower status to folks who might end up higher.Or if there was a sweep, system would have to be smart enough to identify cases with low odds for moving higher.

Since you mentioned...you should know that I did attend my first FT YYZ "do" just before Xmas where I rubbed shoulders with many FT AC MMs so that must be why I got my red button!
Afterall, I cannot dance the Carlton nor even Floss properly without making my friends laugh.Not that I think we can figure out the AC IT quagmire, but perhaps they do it by date of qualification? I qualified on Dec 3. Or by Aeroplan number?!? Who knows.

Just showed up in past hour and I am only lowly 50E.. Trying to decide if I want the lower requalification or E upgrades.
I have 2 trans pacific long haul in PE or J in January/February. Probably won't have a lot of paid long haul after that (although a few awards including to Australia) .
