They really got to do something about that. Get rid of lounge passes and memberships - keep it open to the elites who spend the hours on TATL/TPAC K fares to accrue 50k for UA Gold every year! None of these FOTSG riffraff

How dare you! Us UA loyalist had to spend hundreds of dollars annually on k fares just too make the grade! Certainly we're the least likely to exhibit kettle qualities like bare feet or dropping wine glasses on the floor of showers!

They're super useful for me. I'm E35k, so have access, but no guest privileges. I need a lounge pass for every time I fly with my wife. Have been fortunate that SE have been willing to share!

AC has some serious investments to do in its lounges, they have fallen way behind. Even the signature is a joke with you compare it to the NEW AA /Delta/UA lounges.

I agree that MLL can be improved. Heck, there's a whole thread on that.

What I cannot agree with is saying the AC lounges are worse than the UA lounges when they clearly aren't. Be it the lack of showers, limited food options or crowded premises UAs Dom lounges don't hold a candle to Dom MLL. I haven't been to AA or DL lounges since I'm a * flyer but from what I hear they may be worse than UA in so e respects (i.e. paying for food at Aadmirals lounges).

If we're comparing J fare lounges then sure you may have a point there. I haven't been to any since i always fly k fares on UA.

select privileges - when/how to select for 2019

I’ve already requalified for S100K , think it's been a month. How can we select privileges for 2019? In the past , I believe I would just log into Altitude and select a tab. I don’t see this tab. Am I just not seeing it?

Anyone with the same issue or who can point me in the correct dircetion?

Any advice appreciated

The red button can appear very quickly or...very slow.

With the AQD issue of the past three weeks, I am sure this is related.

Patience is required with AC IT.

I thought that after the Oct 31 deadline is for early qualifications, selections for privileges for the following year don't really come into play until the new qualification year - March 2019?
I know AC does periodic sweeps before the new year but this is not guaranteed.
I'm in a similar boat. I had met my SE qualifications at the beginning of December but except for the extra e-ups for meeting the 100K AQM threshold, wasn't really expecting to see the "red button" until the next sweep, whenever that may be.

One would think they'd hold off on doing a sweep for about 9 days at this point to capture all of the year end activity, n'est ce pas?

One would think there wouldn't be sweeps.

When the requisite AQ M/S/D posted, your status would just instantly change.
