** If you are posting an associated year and/or month, please do so with the following priority of roll call information:
- The year and/or month you know you CROSSED the threshold. This information takes priority in the roll call list.
- If you are not sure when you crossed a threshold, then the year and/or month in which you first found out that you crossed an MM tier. This could either be by email, at the airport because some agent told you, you see your BP has ACMM remarks for the first time, you get an email from Air Canada congratulating you, you received your kit in the mail, etc.
If you are aware of a former poster who is unable to post their information, you may add them.

Well after way too many years, I finally crossed the mark last night. I planned a unique route home from YQR through YVR and YXE to YYC. Aren’t flight passes great! After I boarded my YVR-YXE flight and after the departure time, we were told we were waiting for a couple of passengers. They ended up being non-status passengers and even after they boarded, we waited a bit longer for a total departure delay of 25 minutes.
Crossed over 1MM mark the other week on the return leg from YVR. Was chatting with the SD that this was the milestone flight, so he sent a "congratulations" message to the IFE for my seat on the Max. That was it as far as recognition went. The upgrade was locked in 14 days prior, so a glass of fizz to celebrate and numb my sore back!
It only took 10 years of flying in economy trans-Canada in the A320. Company policy forces booking Y.

Congrats! And all this time I assumed you were at least 2MM. Don't know why!

Agreed -- and NordsFan is an institution around here --definitely would have thought he would be there by now--but NOW he is! Congrats to all--makes my life easier being a 2MM (and my granddaughter's too!).

The miles are one thing. The experiences associated with each and every trip are entirely more valuable. This includes meeting many fellow FTers along the way, at Dos, in airport lounges, AC meeting rooms and onboard airplanes.
I am also appreciative of the hard work done by the airline employees of all trades that I've crossed paths with, especially at AC. I have never felt unsafe in any of my travels and am thankful that there are competent people ensuring that we make it home at the end of every journey, even if delayed, with or without bags. No industry or company is perfect so some tolerance for the occasional service imperfection comes with being a FFer.
BlonderBomber: I'm sure your granddaughter will enjoy her status for a long time and that you will keep her apprised of the best ways to maximize her benefits ! I'll be giving the 50K Elite to a close friend who hired me in 1995 for a job that got me started as a FFer. He kept things stable at HQ while I was out beating the bushes and earning the miles. He's since retired and E50K is perfect for the pace of leisure travel that he now does.
I think I will keep on flying for awhile yet. :-)

Way to go NordsFan..
I know all too well how difficult it is to make status when you are required to connect at YUL or YYZ.
Congratulations!!

Yes, it was a sad day in 2015 when they reduced the AQM minimum to 250.

I waited for the trumpets and fanfare, or for the overhead oxygen mask compartment to pop open and adorn me with confetti...but alas, it was just me, a wee dram of whisky, and a quick toast to myself for quietly crossing the 1MM threshold on my way back home from spending a fantastic day touring microbreweries in Boston with an old friend.
It has been said many times in this forum and in this thread, but let me join the chorus of those who thank the FT Community for making the journey so fun and interesting.
It was remarkable how glacially that MM progress indicator crept forward towards one million miles for years...and then how quickly goal reset, and put me on the long path to two million! It was a bit sad...but it also got my travel spirits fired right up again. On we go!

Mine is slowly creeping towards 1MM. Had planned on getting there in 2020. Now planning on 2023.
Just a note of clarification, assuming you had JW Black on the plane, you would have had whisky (Scotland, Canada) as opposed to whiskey (Ireland, US).
