AC 1312 & 1314 YVR-YYZ Dec 27, 2018 - special flights?

Noticed the extra afternoon big birds from YVR-YYZ.
Is it because of the holidays? Are they coming back from maintenance offshore?
I usually fly 116 or 118 on connecting from TPACs so I noticed the extras on the schedule. Also AC 120 is usually a narrow body.

Looks like the last time there was an AC1314 it was YVRYYZ (789) December 26, 2017, and an AC1312 it was YYCYYZ (763) January 4, 2018.

Extra sections for the holiday season, not isolated to just Dec 27.

It is indeed additional capacity around Christmas. You can also find other AC13xx flights on YYZ-YYC, YYZ-YHZ, and YHZ-YYT.

There may be additional capacity on other routes too for this coming season, but those have been the common ones in years past.

Yup, interestingly we see 789 and 333s on YYC-YYZ and an extra red-eye (AC13x) - presumably the other 763 is doing YYZ-HNL. Makes me hopefuly AC will maintain the 333 on the YYC-YYZ route when the 763s are gone from mainline.
