TAP Economic Fares & Aeroplan Miles
Hi,
In terms of earning Aeroplan miles, I'm in doubt which TAP Economic Fare would give me the best return: "Classic" or "Basic"?
How many Aeroplan miles I would earn in each case for a Toronto - Lisbon - Toronto trip?

Have a look at the "Eligible Flights" tab of this Aeroplan page for TAP accumulation.
I believe the TAP economy fares for TATL still map as follows:
Basic: G W S L K U - which gives you 50% AE miles (about 3,560 AE miles RT)
Classic: M H Q V - which give you 100% AE miles (about 7,120 AE miles RT)

The sweet spot is the Business class fares. 200% earnings and very cheap (sub 2k roundtrip), I did Europe-NY twice this year. That's 34,000AQM on 2 round trips.

Price in J was around 5K for this particular trip.
