Instant Prestige recognition?

I agree with Prestige, earning status through domestic segments is much more difficult and expensive. I currently have 33 segments but only 10000 status miles.
What really bothers me is the website indicates instant prestige and error or not they should honor it. And at the very least it would be nice if they answered my email.
