Effective the takeover:

Shareholders receive one WJ share for every 100 AC shares
All debt holders are invited to renegotiate terms of their instruments at Ft. McLeod, Alberta where they will be offered the option of taking a flying leap over the Buffalo Jump, or resigning on WJ's terms
The Caisse drops another billion or two of Quebec pensioner's money
UA becomes the US subsidiary of WJ after conversion of its special AC shares
All AC staff over the age of 30 are suspended and pensioned off
AC Forum on FT wound down, no WJ Forum since there is no FF program
Errorplan.com mourns the killing of the goose that laid those golden eggs

All aircraft converted to single class
Seat pitch reduced to 26-inches
All MLLs closed
No elite priority check-in/boarding
All passengers must sing for their in-flight service
No advance seat selection
No priority baggage handling
No STAR Alliance
Immediate wind down of Aeroplan with miles redeemable only for toasters and VCRs from FUTURE SHOP
WJ fares soar 250%, Saturday overnight extended to Sunday as well

Welcome to the new model of flying in Canada. You asked for it, now you got it!

This joke is becoming true with the bankruptcy. The AC shares are not even traded anymore today.

"For less than the price of a cup of really bad coffee, you too can be a shareholder - at least, until the shares are cancelled."

Someone's making a very fast buck.

Buy in at .69, flip at $1. 50% gain in a few hours.

I imagine it takes some serious nerve, however.
